Clinton River Shoreline Restoration

Other Projects (Check out some of the other projects we have been working on)

After severe flooding reshaped the riverbank and claimed several mature trees, this homeowner sought a sustainable solution. Through native shoreline restoration, a diverse meadow planting, and strategically placed rain gardens, the property was transformed into a resilient landscape that supports wildlife, manages stormwater, and enhances the natural beauty of the Clinton River.

Site Prep: The client was diligent in site prep, covering the soil with cardboard, grass clippings, and leaf mulch.

First Phase:  The client had prepped site and planted Asclepias incarnata in the first phase.

Second Phase:  After the Asclepias incarnata, the client wanted to have an under planting installed to help cover the ground and reduce weeding pressure.
